In the range of orchard equipment, the FRUIT single-blade pruner from Orizzonti, a central-column, front-mounted tractor-mounted model, is a highly efficient model suitable for most espalier orchards.
The FRUIT orchard pruner is ideal for orchards and plantations such as apple, pear, and cherry trees, and generally structured with espalier plantings, with a maximum working height of between 4.5 and 5 meters.
FRUIT is equipped with a series of vertical cutting bars with variable lengths (200, 250, or 300 cm) on request, controlled by a manual hydraulic distributor or a joystick that allows instant adjustment of the pruner's various movements and adjustment of the cut to the trees.
Thanks to the "SCH - PRO CUT" teeth, it is possible to make cuts up to 3-4 cm in branch diameter.
In addition to the vertical boom, FRUIT can be equipped with 1.2 m or 2 m horizontal topping booms for potted orchards. The retraction system for these top booms varies depending on whether the orchard has hail, sun, or insect protection.
FRUIT is mounted frontally on all types of tractors between 70 and 100 HP, directly on the ballast carrier or lift arms, and can be operated using its own hydraulics or with an auxiliary tank.
The hydraulic requirement is 30-35 l/min with a maximum operating pressure of 180 bar.
